Together, our two locations are Berlin's best-attended public cultural and educational institution. We know that the division into the two houses is inconvenient and uncomfortable for you. The Berliner Stadtbibliothek in Berlin-Mitte has specialist natural sciences, medicine and economics collections, for example, and also looks after the Berlin Senate Library local government studies and law collections. The ZLB's Berlin and historic collections have their own dedicated reading room and offer extensive collections of materials that focus on Berlin's past and present.
